"The Best Days of a Sailor's Life Occur When They Buy or Sell Their Boat"

When we started shopping for a boat, deferred maintenance became an obvious issue on many boats. Until we came across this O'day 322, we really had no idea what items a 1989 vintage sailboat really could need.
One thing that was interesting during our search: When talking to different boat owners, some talked proudly of improvements, enhancements and the investment they made in their boat.
Others acted like it was a financial drain on them, and it seemed like they begrudgingly spent the money...
Buy a boat from the former rather than the later. You'll be glad you did

Below is a list of improvements / maintenance items completed by the Seller during their 7 years of ownership. For us, it meant we were buying a boat that would be pretty close to being ready to go.  It makes a pretty good check list for questions to ask when you're buying an older boat.
