Comments:
This survey was conducted using as guidelines the USCG and NFPA regulations, as well as the ABYC standards and recommended practices.  This boat was surveyed while out of the water in winter storage.  It was well supported by blocks under the keel and jackstands under the hull.  The boat was winterized, and the mast remained stepped.  The engine was run  by recirculating the engine coolant.  The boat was in use during the 2009 season.  It was reportedly used for local cruising on Long Island Sound.
A sea trial was conducted on May15, 2010, after the boat was launched and fully commissioned and placed on its mooring in Port Jefferson Harbor.  In the intervening time between the out of water survey and the sea trial, a number of improvements were made, following the recommendations of the initial report.

General Summary/Risk Assessment/Values:
This boat was found to be well constructed originally, and it has not suffered any major damage or repairs.  The basic structure of the boat - the hull, deck, and interior - is sound.  The engine ran well, and the boat's systems, as far as could be tested, are in good working order.  The boat has been well maintained, with many recent upgrades, by the present owner, who is knowledgeable and conscientious.  If the recommendations are followed, and the boat is operated by a knowledgeable person, I would consider it to be an acceptable risk.   I would place its current market value, as surveyed, at about $32,000- $34,000.

This report is submitted in good faith and is based on the observable condition of the boat as found. Latent defects and defects not found without dismantling the boat in any way are not covered in this report. This report does not warrant (expressed or implied) or guarantee the condition of the boat or the condition of its parts.

                                                        Signed without bias,
